Congratulations on receiving your new S2/S3! Use this guide to learn about pairing S2/S3 with your preferred device, charging the battery, and restoring the speaker to its factory settings.

Before getting started
The speaker will likely have some existing battery charge, however it is recommended to fully charge S2/S3 before using it for the first time.
Turning S2/S3 on or off
Press (hold) the play button for two seconds to turn on/off your S2/S3.
Pairing with a device
Press (hold) the play button for two seconds to turn on your S2/S3. The speaker is now on and in pairing mode.
Open the Bluetooth settings on your device and wait for S2/S3 and the device to locate each other, then select Sudio S2/S3 when it appears in the list.
In order to disconnect S2/S3 and return it to pairing mode, you can press (hold) the broadcast button for 2 seconds, the LED light will blink white two times.
Charging the battery
S2/S3 has one built-in battery inside the speaker.
S2/S3 is charged with a Type-C USB-cable. It is recommended to use the Sudio Type-C USB-cable that's included in the package, but the charging case may be compatible with third-party Type-C USB-cables as well.
There is one LED-light on the top of the S2/S3 that indicates the speaker's battery remaining level.
Restoring S2/S3 to factory settings
If S2/S3 is behaving unexpectedly or you simply wish to restore it to its original settings, then you can reset it. You may then proceed with pairing S2/S3 again.
Pairing S2/S3 with a device
- Turn on your S2/S3 by holding the play button for 3 seconds.
- The light will blink white/amber. Go into the Bluetooth settings on your device and connect your S2/S3.
- For iOS (iPhone), go to the Settings app and select Bluetooth.
- For Android, go to the Settings app, then select Connections followed by Bluetooth.
- For Windows 10, click on the Start button, select Settings followed by Devices, and then Bluetooth and other devices.
- For macOS, go to the System Preferences app and select Bluetooth.
- Locate and select Sudio S2/S3 in the Bluetooth list on your device.
- Your S2/S3 is now connected.
To disconnect your S2/S3 you can press on the link/broadcast button for 2 seconds, the LED light will blink orange twice. The S2/S3 is now disconnected.
Device compatibility
S2/S3 uses Bluetooth version 5.3 which is compatible with a wide range of Bluetooth devices. The paired device does not need to be the same version, but similar versions are more likely to maintain a strong connection.
Signal interference
Some wireless devices may interfere with each others' signals, such as WiFi-routers, smartwatches, other Bluetooth devices, etc. If they operate within the same frequency, you may experience interference such as dropped sound and glitching. The easiest way to locate the cause of interference is by maintaining one connection between devices at the same time or moving your S2/S3 and connected device away (outdoors or to a different room) to see if the interference clears.
S2/S3 can be up to a maximum of 10 meters (32 ft) from the paired device, but the connection may break if they are blocked by walls or similar objects.
Pairing with multiple devices
S2/S3 does not support multipoint but it has a broadcast function and can broadcast to up to one S2/S3 speaker.
Music/video playback
- Press the play button once to play/pause the music
- Press (hold) the button labeled (+) for 2 seconds to jump forward to the next song
- Press (hold) the button labeled (-) for 2 seconds to go back to the previous song
Volume
- Press the button labeled (+) once to increase the volume and repeat it until you reach your preferred volume.
- Press the button labeled (-) once to decrease the volume and repeat it until you reach your preferred volume.
Incoming phone calls
You can answer the incoming call using either your phone or S2/S3.
- Press the pause/play button once to answer the phone call from S2/S3
- Press (hold) the pause/play button for 2 seconds to hang up or reject a phone call
Power
- Press (hold) the play/pause button for three seconds to turn on your S2/S3
- Press (hold) the the play/pause button for seven seconds to turn off your S2/S3.
If your speaker is behaving unexpectedly or you are having difficulty pairing, we recommend you do a factory reset.
Follow these instructions to factory reset your speaker:
1. Go into the wireless connection settings and “forget” S2/S3 on all connected devices. S2/S3 will no longer be synced.
2. Hold the play button on your S2/S3 to turn the speaker on.
3. Hold the play button for 5 seconds, the LED light will blink white 3 times.
4. S2/S3 is now reset. Turn it on to pair your device by following the “How to pair S2/S3 with a device” step.
S2/S3 has one built-in battery inside the speaker.
Charging and play times
The speaker can be used for approximately 6.5 hours on one charge.
The battery takes approximately 2.5 hours to fully charge. S2/S3 does not support quick charge.
Charging methods
S2/S3 can only be charged with a Type-C USB-cable. We recommend using the Sudio cable included in the package, however, other third-party Type-C USB-cables may be compatible too.
Battery level indicators (no cable inserted)
- White: 10-100% battery remaining
- Red: 0-10% battery remaining
Battery level indicators (with cable inserted and charging)
- No light: 100% battery charged
- Red (fixed): 0-99% battery charged
Lightly dampen a cloth with water to clean the Sudio S2/S3 speaker. Do not use any alcohol or other chemical products to clean S2/S3.
If you have two or more S2/S3 speakers, you can enjoy dynamic stereo sound by using the broadcasting function. S2/S3 does not support multipoint but it has a broadcast function and can broadcast to up to one S2/S3 speaker.
In order to further amplify your listening experience, please follow the steps below.
1. Turn on both S2/S3 speakers by pressing (holding) the play button for 3 seconds.
2. Press the link button on both S2/S3 speakers and wait for a few seconds.
3. The S2/S3 speakers are now successfully connected.
4. Connect the main S2/S3 speaker (the one with the blinking light) to your device.
To end the broadcasting, press the link button. The speakers are now unlinked.
S2/S3 is a device with a level 5 water protection rating, which means that the speaker is water-resistant. At this level, the speaker can handle exposure to low-pressure water jet spray. IPX is an official rating that is awarded by an assessment conducted by a third party organization.
IPX5 water protecting allows you to enjoy music in the shower, kitchen or even outdoors.
While it has a great water protection feature and is built for all kinds of weather, we do not recommend soaking it into water.
It may cause water damage and we are unable to cover this kind of case under warranty.
