The A1 Pro earbuds charge their batteries automatically when placed inside the charging case, this is indicated by the LED lights on the earbuds. Make sure to first remove the protective film which is covering the charging connectors.

The A1 Pro case is charged with a Type-C USB-cable and does not support wireless charging. When the case is charging, you will see a light on the front o the charging case. It is recommended to use the Sudio Type-C USB-cable that's included in the package, but the charging case may be compatible with third-party Type-C USB-cables as well.

Device compatibility

A1 Pro uses Bluetooth version 5.2 which is compatible with a wide range of Bluetooth devices. The paired device does not need to be the same version, but similar versions are more likely to maintain a strong connection.

Signal interference

Some wireless devices may interfere with each others' signals, such as WiFi-routers, smartwatches, other Bluetooth devices, etc. If they operate within the same frequency, you may experience interference such as dropped sound and glitching. The easiest way to locate the cause of interference is by maintaining one connection between devices at the same time or take your A1 Pro and connected device outdoors to see if the interference clears.

A1 Pro can be up to a maximum of 10 meters (32 ft) from the paired device, but the connection may break if they are blocked by walls or similar objects.

Pairing with multiple devices

A1 Pro can remember up to 10 devices and will pair automatically with the last used device.

It is possible to keep A1 Pro connected to several devices at the same time, such as a laptop and smartphone simultaneously, A1 Pro supports Multipoint connection.

You can quickly and easily switch between audio sources with your A1 Pro without having to manually disconnect and pair them to one device at a time. Multipoint helps to simplify the process of connecting, disconnecting, and reconnecting your A1 Pro every time you want to use them with a different device.

A1 Pro - User guide - Battery levels and management

A1 Pro has three built-in batteries; one inside the charging case and one in each earbud. The battery inside the case is used to charge the earbuds, while the included Type-C USB-cable is used to charge the case.

Before using your A1 Pro for the first time

⚠️  Sudio A1 Pro is delivered with a protective film covering the charging connectors between the earbuds and charging case. The film needs to be removed in order for the earbuds to power on.

Charging and play times

The earbuds can be used for approximately 5 hours on one charge (3 hours while using ANC), with up to 30 hours in total before the case needs to be recharged.

The earbuds and case take approximately 1.5 hours to fully charge.

Charging methods

The A1 Pro case can be charged with a Type-C USB-cable, wireless charging is not supported. We recommend using the Sudio cable included in the package, however, other third-party Type-C USB-cables may be compatible too.

Battery level indicators

There is one LED-light that indicates the charging case's remaining level on the front of the case.

The LED lights up when the earbuds connect and disconnect to the case and when there is less than 25% battery remaining.

When inserting the charging cable to the case, the current battery level is displayed for 5 seconds followed by a blinking light, indicating that the case is currently charging.

In some cases, you can also read the battery level on your phone, such as iPhone or Android devices. The level shown is that of the N2 Pro earbuds, not the charging case.

Charging case (no cable inserted)

  • White: 26-100% battery remaining
  • Orange: 0-25% battery remaining

Charging case (with cable inserted and charging)

  • White (fixed): 100% battery charged
  • Orange/White blinking: 0-99% battery charged

A1 Pro - User guide - Care and cleaning

Cleaning your earphones on a regular basis will ensure the best possible sound performance and prevent them from wearing out sooner than expected.

Sudio A1 Pro features silicone ear tips with a built-in mesh net, protecting the earbuds from dirt, grime (and the notorious earwax), all while sitting comfortably in your ears. These ear tips can be removed from the earbuds and cleaned with water or a cotton swab. Avoid hot water though, as this can distort the size and shape of the ear tips.

Use only a slightly damp cloth when cleaning the earbuds and/or case. You can also use a fine brush or cotton swab to gently clean inside the case, avoiding damage to the charging connectors (pins). While the A1 Pro earbuds and case are splash-proof, subjecting them to high moisture levels could lead to permanent water damage.

Psst, the Sudio Care Kit is ideal for regular maintenance and includes all the tools you need to keep your Sudio earphones in shape!

Keep in mind that with time, some discoloration may eventually appear. This is most common if the earbuds or charging case continue to come in contact with dirty surfaces or materials over extended periods of time.

A1 Pro - Features - Active Noise Cancellation

A1 Pro features two audio modes that let you decide what you want to hear - and what you don't want to hear. These two modes are called Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Normal (Off) mode.

The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) mode in A1 Pro reduces outside noise which allows you to fully immerse yourself in your own world.

How to switch between the modes

The earbuds are in Normal (Off) mode by default, where background noise is neither reduced nor amplified. By holding the touch control for 2 seconds on either earbud the modes cycle between Normal and Active Noise Cancellation.

How does Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) work?

The mechanics behind Active Noise Cancellation is in its name. The built-in microphones on A1 Pro listen to the noise outside the earbuds while using the speaker to emit the same noise - but inverted - inside, reducing the outside noise nearly entirely. The ANC in A1 Pro uses Feed Forward technology, which uses the microphone on the outside of the earbud to forward noise to the internal processor.

Feed Forward technology works best when used in surroundings that have a static low-frequency noise, for example in transportation (cars, public transport, or airplanes). However, you may not notice a significant difference with high-frequency noise (such as people talking) or if the noise is irregular.

A1 Pro - FAQ - Can I use one earbud at a time?

Yes, you can use one A1 Pro earbud on its own for both playback and calls. Both earbuds have the same components (speakers and microphones), which means that you can use either the left or right earbud at your leisure.

To ensure a stable connection, always keep the unused earbud inside the charging case.

It’s always a good idea to charge both earbuds until full after having used them separately to maintain the same battery levels.

A1 Pro - FAQ - Does A1 Pro support wireless charging?

No, A1 Pro does not support wireless charging through Q1-technology or similar. Charge your A1 Pro case by inserting a Type-C USB-cable and connecting it to either a USB-port or to a wall socket via an adapter.

We recommend using the Sudio cable included in the product packaging, however other third-party Type-C USB-cables may be compatible too.
